Hairy caterpillars causing concern in Surrey
Hairy caterpillars known as the Processionary Oak Caterpillar are causing concern in Surrey.
The caterpillars have hairs which contain a protein that causes itchy skin rashes, eye / throat irritations and breathing difficulties and can be harmful to humans and animals.
