Did you witness fatal collision involving two pedestrians in Dorking?
Surrey Police is appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision between a van and two pedestrians in Dorking at around 6.47pm today (Fri 21 October).
Two elderly pedestrians and a silver van were involved in the collision on the A25 Reigate Road near the junction of Pixham Lane.
A man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. A woman was taken to St George’s Hospital in London where she was sadly pronounced dead.
The road is currently closed while officers carry out an investigation of the scene – motorists are advised to take an alternative route. The road is due to open around 11.30pm tonight (Friday 21 October).
Officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or the movements of the silver van prior to the collision.
