A man was robbed at knifepoint in Lingfield last Wednesday (22 March), and Surrey Police is asking for help from the public to find out who was responsible.

The victim was in the car park outside The Star Inn in Church Road, Lingfield, around 7pm when two men threatened him with a knife before taking his car keys. The men were believed to have been driving a blue Vauxhall Corsa. Two women were also in the car.

The victim was left with a small cut to his thumb as a result of the incident.

There is no description of the suspects other than that they were both white.

Officers are investigating to establish the circumstances of this incident and would like to talk to anyone who witnessed the incident or with any other information which could assist the investigation.
