A former Haslemere resident has been charged with 12 serious sexual offences.

Geoffrey Horne, 55, now of Mallard Crescent, Iwade, Sittingbourne, Kent, has been charged with nine offences of indecent assault on a boy under the age of 16, one of rape of a boy aged under 16, one of a rape of a man aged over 16, and a sexual assault on a 15- year-old boy.    

The offences are alleged to have taken place against five boys and men between 1988 and 2007. Horne was also charged with six offences of making / possessing indecent images of children.
He is due to appear at Guildford Magistrates’ Court on 16 May.
Eleven of the charges refer to the alleged victims being aged between 12 and 16 at the time, with the final charge relating to a man aged 17.
