Surrey Police is appealing for witnesses following a collision between a car and a motorbike in Send, Woking this evening (Wednesday 10 May).

Officers were called to Send Barns Road at around 7.35pm following reports that a motorcyclist and a black Honda collided at the junction with Kevan Drive. 

The motorcyclist, a man in his 60s, was taken to a hospital in London by air ambulance with a suspected serious head injury.

The road is currently closed while police carry out an investigation of the scene.

It is expected to open at around 11pm (10 May).
