UPDATE: A3 reopened at Thursley after lorry overturned on northbound carriageway
The A3 is now fully reopened after an HGV lorry overturned on the northbound carriageway at Thursley yesterday afternoon (12 May).
The A3 Northbound was closed from 2.30pm and was fully reopened this morning (13 May) around 9am, following a lengthy recovery procedure, involving numerous agencies.
The driver of the 44 tonne lorry, which was carrying yogurt, was in hopsital overnight but is exected to make a full recovery.
One lane of the southbound carriageway was also closed during the incident.
