Police concern for driver who left the scene of a collision with a motorcycle in Tadworth
Surrey Police is appealing for the driver of a matte grey Volkswagon Golf involved in a collision with a motorcyclist just after 9pm on 23 May to get in contact.
Officers were called to Shelvers Hill, Tadworth, at around 21.10, to reports that a motorcyclist had been involved in a collision with a Volkswagon Golf. The motorcyclist has been taken to hospital in London with serious injuries. The Golf left the scene and officers urgently want to trace the driver and possible passenger as there is concern that they could have sustained injuries.
The VW Golf is described as matte grey and is likely to have substantial damage to the passenger side (either door or rear). The driver is described as white and in his 20s. He may well have injuries that could require medical attention. Witnesses also reported a second, younger, male as a passenger in the car.
If you were the driver or passenger in the Golf, or you believe someone you know may have been involved, please get in contact with Surrey Police on 101 or 999 in an emergency, quoting reference P17124728.
