We’d like to speak to these men about the theft of a student’s laptop in Epsom. Do you know them?
The device, which contained a dissertation and final year project, was taken from the University for the Creative Arts in Ashley Road, Epsom sometime between 1pm and 1.30pm on Thursday 6 April as the student stepped away from her desk.
The victim’s purse was also stolen and her bank card was subsequently used in McDonalds in Epsom half an hour later.
The student has been left devastated by the loss of the laptop, made worse by the fact that her back-up memory stick was also stolen. As a consequence, she’s had to redo a year’s work in one month and now all she wants is her work back from the computer.
If you recognise these two men please call Surrey Police on 101 quoting reference 45170035349.
You can also use the online reporting system found at https://report.police.uk/ and enter the reference number in the ‘Additional information’ section.
Information can also be passed anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
