A 55-year-old man has sadly died following a collision in Send, Woking on Wednesday 10 May.

Officers attended Send Barns Lane at around 7.35pm following reports of a collision between a black Honda Civic and a motorbike near the junction with Kevan Drive.

The motorcyclist, a 55-year-old man, was taken to hospital in London by air ambulance with head and leg injuries.

He was sadly pronounced dead in hospital on Thursday 1 June.

Sergeant Jamie Dann from Surrey Police Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “I am urging anybody who witnessed the collision or witnessed the manner of driving of either vehicle prior to the collision to call us as soon as possible.

“We are particularly keen to hear from the driver of a car behind the Honda who would have witnessed what happened but didn’t stop at the scene.

“Our thoughts are with the family of the motorcyclist at this difficult time.”
