Cobham Services closed following alarm activation

Surrey Police was called to the Cobham Services on the A3 this evening following the activation of an alarm at the location (5 June).

The services were subsequently closed as a precaution.

A thorough search of the premises was carried out by emergency services who quickly established that there were no suspicious circumstances or matters requiring further police involvement.

The services have since been reopened.

Members of the public are thanked for their patience while these precautionary measures were taken.
