This afternoon ( 16th June 2017 ) the Mayor of Surrey Heath, Councillor Valerie White joined in the festivities at Cedar Lodge Care Home in Frimley Green as part of the National Care Homes Day.
The theme adopted by the care home was International Friendship Day and was celebrated with many national flags and costumes as well as singing and national dancing by members of staff. An international cuisine for residents included traditional Nepali dumpling momos and sel roti.
