The turf has been cut for five new affordable homes on a former Garage site at Nursery Hill, Shamley Green. Two three bedroom homes and three two bedroomed houses are being built.

Ward councillor for Shamley Green, Cllr Mike Band said: “I am delighted that progress is now being made to bring this former garage site into good use by providing much needed affordable homes for rent to local people.”

Councillor Carole King, Portfolio Holder for Housing, said: “Building homes on underused space is one way that we are trying to improve the availability of good quality homes that people can afford while enhancing local neighbourhoods.”

The homes are being built by Feltham Construction Ltd.
