We were deeply saddened to hear of the tragic events in Grenfell Tower and our thoughts are with the residents and all those who have been affected by the terrible fire.

We understand that residents in Woking may be unsettled by these events and would like to reassure people that we take the safety of our tenants seriously.

New Vision Homes, on behalf of Woking Borough Council, manage 160 blocks of flats no higher than five storeys. Each block complies with Article 9 of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (the ‘Fire Safety Order’). These block of flats are reviewed by officer no more than three years apart.

There are reasonable precautions you can take to help prevent a fire in the home. Further information is available on the Surrey Fire & Rescue website.
