Burglars use pick-axes to smash their way in to a jewellers in Epsom – can you help us find them?
Officers are keen to identify any witnesses following a burglary, which took place at a jewellers in the Ashley Centre, Epsom at around 11.20pm on Tuesday, 20 June.
A group of offenders shattered a window into the shopping centre before being caught on CCTV entering the jewellers and smashing the display windows using a pick-axe and kicking at the glass. At this time it is believed a number of Tag-Heuer watches were taken from the display.
The suspects are all described as slim build, white males in their late-teens to early-twenties.
- The first suspect was wearing a navy sweatshirt with a grey hood, navy tracksuit bottoms with a thick white stripe, and white trainers. He was also wearing gloves and a balaclava.
- The second suspect was wearing a grey hooded top, navy coloured tracksuit bottoms with a white stripe and distinctive sea blue/turquoise trainers. He was wearing bright orange gloves and a balaclava, and was carrying a large Sports Direct bag.
- The third suspect was wearing all dark clothing, black or navy hooded top, tracksuit bottoms, black gloves and dark coloured trainers. He was holding a black and grey holdall.
Just after the incident the suspects were seen to leave the Ashley Centre towards Ashley Avenue.
Sergeant Edward Adderley, said, “We are urging anyone who may have seen the suspects, or anyone who recognises the descriptions, to get in touch with us. If you witnessed the incident, or saw the suspects before or fleeing the scene, or if you have any other information, we would like to hear from you.”
