A man has been charged with burglary in connection with an incident in Oxshott last week.

Franco Andres Carrasco, 20, of no fixed address, was charged after being arrested on Thursday (22 June).

He pleaded guilty to the offence when he appeared at South West Surrey Magistrate’s Court in Guildford on Saturday (24 June).

Carrasco is due to be sentenced at Guildford Crown Court on 27 July.

The burglary, involving the theft of jewellery and bags, took place sometime between 10am and 1.30pm on Thursday (22 June).
