Surrey Police are currently attending a collision between a bus and an elderly pedestrian in Sunbury on Thames, which happened around 17.00 this afternoon (Thursday 29 June).

The collision, involving a double decker bus and an elderly man, occurred at the corner of Green Street and Thames Street.

The man has sustained serious injuries and has been taken to St George’s Hospital by air ambulance.

Green Street is currently closed while officers and other emergency services deal with the collision and recover the bus. Thames Street remains open.
