Man charged in connection with Virginia Water robbery

A 34-year-old man has been charged in connection with an incident where £44,000 cash was stolen.

The money was taken from a vehicle at a petrol station on London Road, Virginia Water on the evening of Wednesday 21 June.

Jason Williams of Guild Rd, Erith in Bexely was charged on Wednesday (28 June) with Robbery.

He appeared in Staines Magistrates Court on 29 June and was denied bail. He will next appear in Kingston Crown Court on 26 July.
