Surrey Police is asking for anyone who has seen missing Epsom man James Middleton to get in touch.

Mr Middleton, known as Jim, was last seen at 12pm today (July 2) as he went out on his mobility scooter heading toward the Stew Ponds and Christ Church area.

However, the 70-year-old has not returned home as expected and officers are concerned for his welfare as his behaviour’s out of character.

Officers have been searching the area this afternoon and have had the assistance of the National Police Air Service, as well as Surrey Search and Rescue.

He is described as white, 5ft 6 inches tall, of large build, with brown greying hair. He was wearing a body warmer, dark grey shorts, blue trainers, white socks and was riding his 4-wheeled light blue mobility scooter.

Anyone who knows where he is or who has seen him today to call immediately on 101 (999 in an emergency) and quote the reference number P17165048.
