Surrey Police is appealing for help in finding a man from Ashtead who went missing earlier this evening (3 July).

John Forster, 87, who suffers from dementia and is described as extremely vulnerable, has not been seen since 5pm. He is extremely frail, becomes easily confused and suffers from high blood pressure and heart problems.

John is described as white, 5ft 9 tall, of a slim build with balding grey hair. He was wearing a navy blue sweatshirt with light blue stripes, blue jeans, open-toed sandals and glasses.

Officers are searching the immediate area but are appealing to anyone who has seen John, or has any information, to call 101, quoting incident reference number P17166182.
