Surrey Police is appealing for witnesses to a robbery in Camberley this afternoon (4 July).

The victim was in Upper College Ride sometime between 2:30 and 2:50pm when he was hit on the back of his head by an assailant, who then made off with his money.

Detective Sergeant Paul Warriner, who is investigating the incident, said: “This was a busy time of the day when people would have been passing and using the local shops. If you were in the area at the time of the incident and saw anything or have any camera, mobile phone or dashcam footage of the incident, please contact us straightaway.”
