Did you see a robbery along Downside in Epsom last Tuesday?
Surrey Police is appealing for the public’s help with the investigation into a robbery in Epsom on Tuesday (18 July).
A 12-year-old boy was walking along Downside just before 4pm when he was approached by two boys who aggressively demanded his money. One of the boys took the victim’s wallet out of his pocket and they then ran off in the direction of Heathcote Road. They were seen turning into the National Counties Building Society car park which leads to Burgh Heath Road and Church Street.
The suspects have been described as:
- A black male, 6 ft, of a skinny build, aged around 16-18, brown eyes, small thin moustache, possibly short black hair however he wore a long sleeved black hoodie over his head. He wore a black tracksuit bottom.
- A white male, 6 ft, of a skinny build, aged around 16-18, ginger/ blonde short curly hair, wore grey tracksuit top and bottom.
Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have seen anything that afternoon or think they know the two boys described.
