Surrey Police is appealing for help in finding a vulnerable man who went missing from Old Dean, Camberley yesterday.

Officers are very concerned for the welfare of Gordon Read, 57, who was last seen yesterday morning (29/7), and has not been seen since. His car, a silver Toyota Picnic, has been found on Mathews Road, Camberley; and officers, and volunteers from Surrey Search and Rescue have been searching nearby woods and heathland throughout the night.

Gordon has short grey hair, is clean shaven, 5 foot 6 inches tall, slim build and was wearing camouflage cargo trousers when he went missing. He is not thought to have been dressed for the weather overnight, and is thought to have taken only his car keys and vape stick (e-cigarette).

​Anyone who has may have seen Gordon leave his vehicle, may have seen him since, or may have information on where he might be, is asked to call Surrey Police on 101 or 999 as soon as possible quoting reference P17191457.
