Surrey Police is appealing for witnesses after a woman was sexually assaulted in East Molesey on Friday (18 August).

The woman was in Palace Road between 3.50 and 4.15pm when the male suspect approached her and touched her inappropriately before pushing her in the back and running away.

The woman chased after him but lost sight of him in Wolsey Road.

The suspect is described as 17-19 years old, of dual heritage, approximately 5ft 7 tall, clean-shaven with short black hair. He was wearing a black baseball cap, an oversized white tee-shirt, black jeans and white trainers and was carrying a smartphone.

PC Nick Whitman, who is investigating the incident, said: “This incident has left the victim feeling shocked, scared and angry.

“This type of conduct is not acceptable and we will pursue all lines of enquiry to identify the man responsible.”
