Natural Surrey Photo Series - Photo Blog
Surrey is an incredible place for landscape photography enthusiasts so we have decided to start a new photo blog series which will form part of regular instameets’ around Surrey.
So what is an instameet you might be asking yourself? Its really very simple. An instameet, in a nutshell, is where instagram users gather in a pre-determined place, at an agreed time, to take photos then upload them to Instagram.
We will also ask participants to send us their best shots to upload here on the Surrey Residents Network but of course there will be no obligation too.
The events will be completely free of charge. Just turn up and shoot. You can use your high end DSLR camera or just your mobile phone. There really are no rules except be creative.
The founder of the Surrey Residents Network Paul Deach is a mobile creativity specialist who will be on hand at some of the Instameets to offer anyone who attends, mobile photography hints, tips & advice. Check out his instagram account @deachy.
Photographers of all ability levels are welcome. This is a great way to get together with like minded souls and inspire one another.
It is also a fantastic way to promote Surrey as an amazing place to visit.
We will be announcing our first instameet here very soon so keep an eye out for details for the date and location.
Here is a photo set that was shot yesturday on Barossa Common, one of Europe’s rare Lowland Heath Nature Reserves and home to some incredible floura, fauna, insects, birds and reptiles as well as a large variety of mammals.
