We are appealing for witnesses after a serious collision in Guildford earlier this evening (26 December).

At around 7.40pm a car, a grey Vauxhall, was in collision with a pedestrian. 

The pedestrian, a man in his 60’s, was taken to hospital by ambulance with serious injuries.

The driver of the car did not suffer any injuries. 

The A322 is closed Northbound from the junction with the A323 and we have now managed to partially reopen the southbound carriageway.
