Inappropriate development is a big cause for concern for Surrey residents across the county and the latest proposals by Government which will make it easier for developers to build “more, more more” does not ease fears.
MP for East Surrey, Claire Countinho spoke about this in the commons recently.
The Surrey Residents Network recognises that there is a shortage of homes, especially the affordable kind in Surrey, but development has to be appropriate and not damage the delicate ecosystems that exist in the county. They also have to be sustainable and not be a drain on resources or a strain on the already creaking infrastructure.
