Surrey Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision in Titsey (near Oxted), earlier this afternoon (5 May).

Police were called at 4pm to Clarks Lane (B2024) where a blue Ford Focus travelling west had collided with a silver Ford Focus travelling east. Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen the collision, or the manner of driving of the vehicles prior to the incident.

In particular, witnesses reported a number of vehicles queuing behind the blue car which did not stop following the collision, and officers are keen to trace anyone who may have been in these cars. Anyone with information is asked to call Surrey Police on 101 quoting reference P17107578.

The driver and passenger of the blue Focus, and the driver of the silver Focus were all taken to hospital. The road remains closed while the vehicles are recovered.
