Shoppers in Camberley were treated to an evening of live music and fun at the launch of Camberley’s Late-Night Shopping on Thursday.

Every Thursday from July, shoppers can shop until 8pm at more than 60 stores and restaurants across Camberley town centre including House of Fraser, Primark, H&M, Next, Superdrug, Argos and New Look.

The late-night shopping launched on Thursday 6th July with entertainment from Belle’s Busking Boots, who performed a range of songs from Pharrell Williams’ Happy to Bruno Mars Uptown Funk.

Each Thursday will feature different entertainment, including stand-up comedy, cupcake decorating, face painting, a spectacular science night, and more throughout the summer.

Plus, customers who spend £50 in the town centre between 5pm and 8pm on Thursdays during July will have the chance to win a £1,000 Gift Card every Thursday in July! Shoppers will need to fill in a coupon and validate their receipts at the Customer Service Desk to enter*.

The winner from the first week was Katia Cooper from Lightwater.

Shoppers can park for £1 from 5pm at Main Square, The Atrium and Knoll Road car parks.

Glen Fulton, General Manager at The Mall Camberley, said: “Belle’s Busking Boots were a great choice to kick off our late-night shopping evenings here in Camberley. Our shoppers really enjoyed the musical entertainment while they shopped, as well as the chance to shop after hours in The Mall.”

Late Night Shopping will run from Thursday 6th July with events from 5pm to 8pm.
